They did what on the last hand??? Colby Burke and John Stimmel, did what?!?!?

It is as if the last game of the season ended in a fairy tale fashion but how did your Prince Charming end up?  Lets find out.

The players started showing up around 7:15 or so and were greeted with the usual Joe's Stone Crab Chopped Salad and Branzino with Vegetables from the Dolce at Icon South Beach.  After such a delicious meal it was time to get down to business.  Lets bring everyone up to speed on the current rankings as only the top 3 places get paid out at the end of the year.

Brandon Weitz and Dan Scala fight for 1st and 2nd place while John Stimmel and  Jason Spiewak fight for 3rd and 4th place.

Then you have the bottom tiered players such as Tim Dornford, Colby Burke, Bwoww, Jarett Shapiro and Jordan Fein.

Sadly enough the only player that was not in attendance was Jarett Shapiro who I have made a living feasting off his measly poker hands.  Have you ever taken candy from a baby?  I have.

As the poker chips went oftern and early to Jason Spiewak as Dan Scala and I were losing but then the tides turned.  As a Tsunami is synonymous with Asians, Chips were sure to typhoon my way and they certainly did.  A commanding lead was taken and there was no looking back....or was there?

It was time for an intermission as I was getting tired from raking in all the chips so we had Key Lime Pie from Joes Stone Crab and Chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream.  This is what we like to call sweet victory.

But the seas were angry my friends, and Jason Spiewak called a huge raise only to hit exactly what he needed on the turn!  Its as if I took a 1-2 punch from Manny Pacquiao but just like I brushed those baby punches off I took the huge hit with glorious vengeance winning the next hand.  At this point John Stimmel woke up from the table and noticed his 3rd place was gone by the resurgence of Jason spiewak.  But Dan Scala and I are neck to neck, what will happen as the time ticks down to 11pm?

Then the mother load hit and pocket kings hit my way.  I slowly called the blind but much to my amazement no one took the bait and a few people limped in and Dan Scala hit trips 3's!  The damage was done, stick a knife in me I am done we all thought but wait....What is the picture with the court jester all about?  Why is John Stimmel and Colby Burke wearing court jester costumes?  What could they have done?  Only a hail marry could save me now and then it happened.  On the last hand of the night when I am down $80, Jester Colby says "Allll In",  Jester John Stimmel follows up with a call.  The trap has been set like mice looking for cheese, and I go All In making Jester Stimmel pot committed.  They turn over their cards and they have NOTHING!  Brandon makes a miraculous comeback like the Russians in the 1980 olympics, it was all over!  The chips all flowed to the two time champion, Dan Scala is going crazy folks, he cant believe what he has just seen!

The chips are counted and I am crowned two time back to back champion with a $2 victory after 5 months it seemed unbelievable!  But the math was off, they asked for a recount as if it was Gore-Bush all over again and once again the true winner got screwed.  After the recount Dan Scala won, the grief left his face as he raised his arms and cheered around finally dethroning the greatest poker player on Earth.
